Al Hamra to showcase luxury property development at Cityscape Dubai

• ‘Falcon Island’ set to take centre stage at global real estate exhibition
• UAE history to be made with the launch of Falcon Island ‘Homebuilder’ app
• Exhibition to include hospitality, leisure, and retail entities

Al Hamra Real Estate Development is set to follow up its appearances at Cityscape Exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia, with a stand showcasing Falcon Island at Cityscape Dubai. As part of the exhibition, the RAK-based property developer will also launch the UAE’s first homebuilder app, allowing customers to build a bespoke luxury property on the private island from any mobile device anywhere in the world.

“We are eagerly awaiting Cityscape Dubai and the opportunity it will give us to show the full complement of world-class amenities and the exclusive lifestyle on offer at Al Hamra Village. We are also excited to launch the UAE’s first homebuilder app, which will be launched at the exhibition,” said Al Hamra General Manager Benoy Kurien.

“As the first of its kind in UAE, the Falcon Island ‘Homebuilder’ app will offer potential buyers an innovative customer experience that will enable them to create a bespoke luxury home from any mobile device and location in the world. The app will feature dynamic 3D renderings, views and the chance to select interiors and landscaping.”

With the ability to see a breakdown of the cost of each feature as they work through the process of creating their dream home, Mr. Kurien announced that the app had been created to simplify the customers’ journey, following worldwide interest in the new project. Once completed, customers will then be sent a PDF that will include a final quotation and details of the quality of materials and technologies specified.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Mr. Kurien was keen to point out the technologies that will be used in creating one of the most sustainable pieces of real estate in the Middle East – something that he says will be reflected in every feature of Falcon Island, as it aims to become the very first LEED Platinum certified in the region.

“One of the sites most impressive features will be its lower-energy consumption facilities, with energy for cooling homes, powering street lights, and desalinating water to be sourced from an innovative photovoltaic bridge and solar cooling plant that will be constructed as part of the gateway to development,” said Mr. Kurien.

“These luxury residences will be built to the highest architectural and environmental standards, will contain a selection of the world’s finest interiors, and be surrounded by the best hospitality and leisure facilities the region has to offer,” he concluded.

Al Hamra’s presence at the event follows the appointment of one of Europe’s leading sustainable architects, A++, and Italian interior masters, ClubHouse Italia – Luxury Living, who will assume respective responsibilities for designing and furnishing the 150 luxury mansions and villas that will feature on Falcon Island. Al Hamra Village, the location of the development project, already boasts over 3,000 luxury properties and 5 hotels, including the iconic Waldorf Astoria – all built over the last decade.

In addition, Village residents already enjoy access to over 1.5km of pristine beaches, a championship golf course and state-of-the-art golf academy, 200 berth marina and yacht club, a shopping mall, and a growing number of international retail outlets.

“Al Hamra Village is one of the most sought after real estate developments in the northern emirates, and Falcon Island will enhance our reputation for providing the perfect environment for sustainable waterfront living. We’re not just on par with some of the world’s best projects we’re actually topping them,” Mr. Kurien declared.
